Uxmal & Cenote tour from Merida: into the Mayan world

Journey South of Merida to visit the stunning Uxmal archaeological site, to then stop for a refreshing dive in a natural cave-type cenote. The tour includes private transportation and all entrance fees; lunch is not included, but we highly recommend the restaurant at the cenote.

  • Private tour, allowing you to explore at your own pace
  • Visit the architectural wonder that is Uxmal
  • Take a dive in a beautiful cave-type cenote, often overlooked

Journey South of Merida to the stunning archaeological site of Uxmal, and wonder at its unique architecture. After the guided visit to the site, enjoy a refreshing dive in a local cenote, a naturally formed lime stone pool with cool, transparent water.

Uxmal is a unique site, a stunningly beautiful example of the Puuc architectural style of the Mayan. The guided visit includes all main buildings, including the Nuns’ Quadrangle, the Pyramid of the Guesser, and the Ball Game Court.

The cenote visit included in this experience is one that you will hardly see in the Instagram influencers’ profiles: a beautiful, cave-type cenote with a delicious restaurant where you can enjoy a local food lunch (not included).

The night culminates in a traditional restaurant serving meals from Western Mexico, where we will have a drink of tequila, and enjoy traditional Mexican churros for dessert.
